Intracoronal Splinting as an Initial Treatment for Patients with Tooth Mobility: A Case Report

چکیده

Background: Tooth mobility is a problem that often results in tooth loss due to disease or injury the gingiva bone supports teeth. one of clinical features periodontal caused by alveolar destruction, occlusion trauma and expansion inflammation from deeper supporting tissues. One treatments for stabilizing splinting. Various types splints can be used as an initial therapy treatment so teeth become more stable further treatments.
 Objective: To describe correction with splint.
 Case Report: A 64-year-old patient presented periodontics clinic Dental Oral Hospitals Gadjah Mada University (RSGM UGM) complaints inferior front mobility. The had history controlled diabetes mellitus. management this case was done scaling root planning (SRP) intracoronal Results: four-week control showed possible.
 Conclusion: splint patients because mobile supported another tooth, thereby increasing comfort during mastication.
